#Kamloops city council has voted to move Mayor Reid Hamer-Jackson's office from the main floor at City Hall to a lower level boardroom.
This action follows sanctions imposed earlier this year to cut his salary 10% and remove him as official spokesperson for the @cityofkamloops.

Not sure why the loop is once again complaining. He has had a lot of notice and continues to break the rules and cry conspiracy. It’s about time he has to answer the bell and go back to square one. Quit enabling and take responsibility for your “clients” actions.

Lease for 25-bed Kamloops shelter extended for another year.
The province, through BC Housing, is provides around $1.3 million annually for operations of the shelter.

10mil to cross the road? If you’re too lazy to get to the crosswalk then you’re probably too lazy to take the stairs. Build a fence for less. Go to the crosswalk like a pedestrian should or take your chances. Blazer fans only use theirs when the trains are blocking.

There are literally dozens of agencies operating and fulfilling their mandates without causing carnage in their surrounding neighborhoods.

Cities should be looking at this as a positive, it’s on an acreage bothering no one. Sure beats looking at the tents, shopping carts and cardboard forts on the sidewalks. SMH at the politics and bylaws.
