Sa Independence Day speech ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa Davao City ngayong June 12, 2026, binigyang diin niya na ang kalayaan ay hindi lang nawawala sa pagsuko sa mga dayuhang mananakop.
"Nawawala rin ito sa tuwing ang serbisyo publiko ay nagiging pribadong negosyo. Ang korapsyon ay hindi lamang pagnanakaw ng pera. It steals opportunity, it steals dignity, and it steals hope. And ultimately, it steals freedom itself," bahagi ng pahayag ni VP Duterte.

How was the holiday in Europe, Madam? Great to see you visiting your affected constituents.
Beautiful as she is, the Vice President seems to be struggling to bring a cohesive and coherent narrative.
Is it because of the language used?
Shouldn’t she need to learn better on both national and international languages in preparation for the debates and foreign policy discussions for when she finally throw in her hat for the 2028 Presidential Elections?
Unless of course the impeachment process and outcomes goes the opposite way of her desired outcome.
I have to say, the Vice President’s handlers and PR Team are doing a really bad job.
