Almost 300 attack drones, most of them “shaheds,” along with 18 ballistic and 7 cruise missiles, were launched by the Russians against Ukraine last night. Once again, the main target of the strike was our energy – generation facilities and substations. Sadly, there has been extensive destruction of residential and civilian infrastructure. Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions came under attack. With no military purpose whatsoever, Russia lobbed missiles at a postal terminal in Korotych, Kharkiv region, killing 4 people. My condolences to their families and loved ones. The situation in the Kyiv region is not easy – several hundred thousand households are currently without power. All emergency services are on the ground. Points of Invincibility have been deployed. As always, wherever Russia tries to destroy, Ukrainians support one another, and internal resilience is what is most needed right now. Every such strike against life is a reminder that support for Ukraine cannot be stopped. Missiles for air defense systems are needed every day, and especially during winter. The world can respond to this Russian terror with new assistance packages for Ukraine. We expect the acceleration of deliveries already agreed with America and Europe. Russia must come to learn that cold will not help it win the war. Thank you to everyone who is helping.

Russia is at it again, using dangerous statements to undermine all achievements of our shared diplomatic efforts with President Trump's team. We keep working together to bring peace closer. This alleged "residence strike" story is a complete fabrication intended to justify additional attacks against Ukraine, including Kyiv, as well as Russia’s own refusal to take necessary steps to end the war. Typical Russian lies. Furthermore, the Russians have already targeted Kyiv in the past, including the Cabinet of Ministers building. Ukraine does not take steps that can undermine diplomacy. To the contrary, Russia always takes such steps. This is one of many differences between us. It is critical that the world doesn’t stay silent now. We cannot allow Russia to undermine the work on achieving a lasting peace.

Almost a day passed and Russia still hasn’t provided any plausible evidence to its accusations of Ukraine’s alleged “attack on Putin’s residence.” And they won’t. Because there’s none. No such attack happened. We were disappointed and concerned to see the statements by Emirati, Indian, and Pakistani sides expressing their concerns regarding the attack that never happened. It is even more surprising given that all three states failed to issue any official statements when a real Russian missile struck the real Ukrainian government building on September 7, 2025. Russia has a long record of false claims — it’s their signature tactic. For instance, Russia claimed it wouldn’t attack Ukraine in the beginning of 2022. They also often accuse others of what they themselves plan to do. Their words should never be taken at face value. Such reactions to Russia’s baseless manipulative claims only play into Russian propaganda and encourage Moscow for more atrocities and lies. We call on all states to act responsibly and refrain from responding to unverified claims — this undermines the constructive peace process that has been advancing lately.

Russia has already killed 2877 Kherson civilians in its drone safari. And the ticker is rising each day. Each of the dots is a geoconfirmed, prooflinked case of deliberate Russian murder against old ladies, children, and first responders in Kherson 👇 tochnyi.info/2025/09/witness…

For the record. Since 1994 Ukraine already has guarantees of independence and inviolability of borders, also from Russia. In addition, on 22 April 2004 Vladimir Putin solemnly ratified the Treaty on the Russian-Ukrainian Border. Suffice to respect them and the war is over.

‼️‼️🇷🇺 It must be clearly understood: the core problem is not Putin himself, but Russia’s deeply rooted chauvinistic and imperialist code — a mindset no Russian leader has ever truly renounced. A striking example of this is the late prominent Russian imperialist and opposition figure Alexei Navalny — and now, his widow, Yulia Navalnaya. Last week, during her appearance at the SuomiAreena forum in Finland, she made a controversial statement regarding Crimea, echoing her husband’s stance. When asked whether a "new Russia" — the hypothetical post-Putin Russia — would return Crimea to Ukraine, Navalnaya responded: "De jure, Crimea belongs to Ukraine; de facto, it belongs to Russia. This will be a very difficult issue to resolve, because don't forget that millions of people now hold Russian passports. Even Ukraine and Ukrainian officials acknowledge that it’s a complicated matter." She did not clarify which Ukrainian officials she was referring to. 🔴 It’s worth recalling that passport issuance is a long-standing Kremlin tactic — a political weapon used to fabricate legitimacy for territorial claims. Russia has repeatedly employed this strategy in Crimea, Donbas, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and Transnistria. The goal is always the same: to manufacture a pretext for occupation or intervention under the guise of “protecting Russian citizens.” Passports do not — and cannot — change borders.

On this day of national mourning in Ukraine, my thoughts are with the children and all civilian victims of the deadly strikes carried out by Russia, such as in Kryvyi Rih on April 4. Again last night, numerous Russian strikes targeted residential areas in Kyiv and several other Ukrainian cities. While Ukraine accepted President Trump’s proposal for a full and unconditional 30-day ceasefire nearly a month ago, and as we work with all our partners to secure peace, Russia continues its war with renewed intensity, showing no regard for civilians. These Russian strikes must stop. A ceasefire must be reached as soon as possible. And strong action must follow if Russia continues to stall and reject peace. How much longer will Russia toy with peace offers from the United States and Ukraine, while continuing to kill children and civilians?
