Meet Burnell Cotlon owner of the lower 9 Market. He has the only grocery in area since #Katrina. He sells fresh fruit, po-boys & more. He also has the only laundromat & Internet cafe, plus he has a barber. You want something, you go see Burnell. @wdsu

Whether we see snow, New Orleans will definitely see bitter cold for several days beginning Sunday night. Take precautions now, and check in on your neighbors early & often, especially the disabled and senior citizens.

Today is #NationalFirstRespondersDay, recognizing the brave men & women across our community who work daily to keep the rest of us safe. And special thanks to our own 9-1-1 Operations team members, the *first* first responders standing by 24/7 to be a lifeline for all.
