Can we use AI to grow AI? Yes!
We show that bio-based ASICs—grown in mushroom farms—can deliver 3M chips per cycle at <$1 each. Our early work benchmarks neuromorphic mycelium chips on inference, memory, and NARMA-10. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
It’s always rewarding to see years of work come full circle. In 2019, we developed the B | reactor—a modular, networked bioreactor for reproducible science. It was just awarded its patent. @biorealize is no longer active, but I’m grateful to everyone who made it possible.
Our mycelium research platform at @ecovative is helping us design the next generation biomaterials from leather to high-performance foam.
