Rotimi Fani-Kayode needs to be remembered. a gay Nigerian artist, exiled in the 1960s at the age of 11. I highly suggest the essay: Homoerotic African Art, in which Moyo Okediji analyses the art of Zanele Muholi & Rotimi Fani-Kayode—in the book; Western Frontiers of African Art.

Murewa had his missteps but overall I liked his Storm run. He tried some new things and took her to new places. Thunder War will go down as a highlight of her character journey and the looks were plentiful. Needed some Betsy sisterhood and a few more thought bubbles but we move.

This was my 1st solo run, & it became the longest Storm solo run ever at 20 issues -- 9 issues longer than the next longest. It was also the most financially and critically successful, and a two-time Eisner nominee.
