My 5th Grade GT students learned about the significance of the poppy. We studied the history, listened to "In Flander's Fields" by John McCrae, and created poppies to display for Veteran's Day.

This year I am happily teaching only 8th grade. With this change, I am no longer teaching just math. This is exciting, but I realized after taking my classroom library out of storage, I do not have a book shelf to display my books.
