Through the rain to be warmed (and chilled) by the campfire glow of "Swept Away," the perfect musical for the dark of winter. The kind of story - of a shipwreck - that hypnotized me as a child. Still does, it turns out. With bluegrass-folk that has a narrative drive all its own.

Recently auditioned for a lead role in a studio film. Met the director, producers, everyone... There was major plot dependent on the actor being latino.
They cast a white guy.
If you can rewrite last minute for a white person. I better see rewrites the other way around as well.
