I got scammed! We see this message every day on CT and it’s always painful. Most people did not lose money at the exact moment they clicked a link. And why is that? It is because the real damage usually started earlier, when a fake partnership, announcement or impersonated account slipped through without being checked. That’s why I built the Oz Network Scam Report Form. Why Does This Matters? Most scams in Web3 don’t begin with a smart contract. They begin with misinformation, which comes from a harmful tweet that looks real, a presale waitlist that feels official, or an airdrop link that carries the right logo and urgency. By the time the truth about these harmful tweets comes out, wallets have already interacted. Most security tools warn users after the damage is done. But Oz Network focuses on something harder and more important: stopping scams before people click. What the Scam Report Form Does: The Scam Report Form gives you a safe way to say: Something feels off about this tweet… can someone please check this for me. If you see: • A strange airdrop link • A rushed presale • An account impersonating a real project You can submit it through the form without connecting your wallet and without putting yourself at risk. Our team of testers reviews the report, checks the details, and flags it if it’s unsafe. Verified outcomes are then shared so others don’t fall into the same trap. “Just fill the form for verification and you are good to go” The Real Problem Isn’t Clicking, It’s Timing; Most victims clicked links on CT because everything looked right and that the project name was familiar, Or the branding matched, a known account reposted it and the message felt urgent. That moment when our speed to act replaces verification is where these scams succeed. The Scam Report Form creates a pause. It gives users a place to check before acting, not after losing funds. For Everyday Users: You don’t need deep technical knowledge and you don’t need to investigate on your own If something feels off, whether on Twitter, Telegram, Discord etc. You report it using the form and we help verify it. For Projects: Fake links and impersonation damage trust fast. Communities get confused, and silence from your team's often looks like approval. The Scam Report Form helps surface these threats early and stop misinformation before it spreads. Why I Built This With My Team: Because in Web3, misinformation is usually the first exploit. The Oz Network Scam Report Form exists to close that gap by turning doubt into verification & hesitation into protection. Web3 should grow on trust, not traps. Just resumed school and I can already feel the stress piling up from day one, But that won't stop me from building Oz Network to its fullest potential. The only thing my team re struggling with for now is getting more interaction around the project. We keep pushing regardless.

The seed phrase was already in the box. Had so much fun scratching it off! Amazing customer service. Very time efficient. ⏸ Except this is exactly how people lose everything. 10/10 scam experience.

A crypto influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers posted an airdrop link, His community trusted it instantly nd by the time anyone realised what happened, wallets were already empty. Here's what actually happened;🔻 An attacker quietly gained access to a Kol's acct, studied the influencer's tone, then posted a clean airdrop claim link that matched everything the audience expected. People clicked because they had no reason not to. They trusted the account and not the link. What they signed gave the attacker full access in such a way that any airdrop tokens landing in those wallets were immediately swept out automatically before victims even saw them arrive. By the time the real owner posted a warning, hundreds of wallets were already gone. This pattern is exactly why I built @OzNetworkxyz . Trust in a Kol X account is not the same as safety in a link. I'm building a product that will allow users to cross-check airdrop announcement, claim links and so on through Oz Network dashboard before interacting with it. Currently, you can submit it through our Scam Report Form first for scrutinizing before interactions.

Here's the thing, if you have learned how to make money in crypto, that same knowledge will make you lose that money, Nd you'd still make it back the same way. That's how the cycle keeps going if you in the game long enough.
this is very true lost so much in 2024 i thought i was done for gave crypto another chance in september of that year and i bounced back better

A client of mine reached out to me yesterday about a platform that pays you to listen to music but requires you to deposit money first before earning, She had already deposited and was watching her balance increase, but I felt it was fishy and asked her to mk out time to provide details. I investigated and found out that they platform stole their logo and brand name from a famous LA music radio studio [XM], They had no social media presence and their domain was created and set to expire on the exact same date June 21st, 2026. Classic pyramid scheme right? Cuz she was basically referred by her mom who was ignorant of what the were interacting with. The withdrawal was locked and the money was trapped. This was my first Web2 scam case and it made me realize that Oz Network can't only protect crypto users. I'm adding Web2 security features to the Oz Network dashboard so as to accommodate Web 2 civilians from misinformation too.
