Also: One of the key things Nneka explains is that the players started by asking for a 40% rev share, then later dropped it to 28 percent in the spirit of compromise. Since negotiations began, the league has increased their revenue share proposal just 2 percent.
She also believes the league purposely didn’t respond to their previous counter proposal for six weeks to try to make the players panic.
