I recently held a Swiss watch and English hymnal from the 1840s.
They were beautifully crafted and built with time in mind.
Carried here over oceans, mountains, and vast plains.
Wars, births, jobs, and lives but still in working order after almost 200 years.
Humbling experience.

I am grateful for sharing this, and thankful for your time to engage with my work, also with works of others. Sales are important, but for me the most important thing is to see that my art speaks to others, truly. It is not that I am not sure of my art, I am, but it gives a feeling similar to when you speak and you feel being heard, supported in your passion for art. It is priceless for me, and that's why I create, to feel and hopefully to make others feel.
