6. I expect the following from @Olacabs: a. Use my Ola Wallet balance for the cab fare and refund me Rs. 1073 immediately b. Retract any info you have sent to CIBIL 3. Then close my OLA account so I don't have to deal with you ever again.

5 . b. Why did you not use my Wallet for the dues? c. Why was no email or other message about the dues sent to me before yesterday? d. The same day you also threatened me on phone recorded messages about reports to CIBIL, and a collection agent coming to my home? contd.

4. I finally used the app to pay Rs. 1073 (it tried to charge me a surcharge for card payment, so I used UPI). Now @Ola, I want answers and actions: a. Why was Ola Money Postpaid applied. I had written asking you to deactivate this service which I had never signed up for, ever.

3. The app wouldn't let me do anything because of the "overdue charges". Calls to their support said the same thing. Tried emailing, no reply. Within a couple of hours, the app hasd added Rs. 100 more, and made the dues Rs. 1073! This is usury! contd.

2. Yesterday, I suddenly got recorded message calls saying I had an overdue payment on Ola Money and it was being reported to CIBIL. When I checked, I saw that there was an overdue of Rs. 973 (873 Rs. 100 as late fee) on Ola Postpaid, and Rs. 873 in my Ola wallet. contd.

1/2Had the strangest experience with @Swiggy just now. I booked a delivery from Koramangala on their website, entered my address and made the payment. Their delivery boy called me from Cubbon Park saying their app sent him there. I am not sure how that happened.

2/2 then their customer service called me and said they would cancel the order. Then they sent me an email saying they are charging the full order value as cancellation fee! What kind of service is this?

Feeling very cheated by @makemytrip. I recently booked 2 return tickets thru them. The dates needed to be changed, so I had to cancel 3 of the 4 legs. The site said 0 refund, and the breakup showed a cancellation fee convenience fee trip secure fee for each cancellation.

Happy to state that @makemytrip got in touch with me and has reversed the convenience fee on the transaction. I hope they change their process to make sure others don't get these charges.

Their customer service tell me that they have deducted Rs. 500 as a convenience fee on the refund. I paid Rs.585 convenience fee on the ticket. They then charged me Rs. 52 as cancellation fee and Rs. 292.5 as convenience fee for cancellation. Now they want more from the refund!

Immediately after, I got 2 messages from Air India that Rs. 1522 each was being refunded for 2 legs, through the travel agent. @makemytrip didn't show any refund for 4 days. Then I get a message that they are refunding Rs. 1022 for one leg. The site still shows 0 refund due.

I had a good experience with @IndiGo6E today at Udaipur. I had put my datacard on charge at the gate and forgot it there. Flight attendant Simran and indigo Security were prompt and helpful. They ensured I got it back in 10 mins. Big thanks to them!

My morning tea ritual isn't compete without the paper to read with it, and the sudoku and cryptic crossword. On Sundays, I get a huge bonus with the @bertyashley quiz. 7/10 today. Thanks, Berty.

Does anyone have a contact at @SujatraDesigns? I placed an order online a month ago, but they haven't delivered it yet, and are refusing to answer my emails. Is this a fraudulent organisation?

Most of us can't do what Simran just did. And yet she isn't trending or in the news. She is a blind runner and just won gold for India 🇮🇳 in 200m finishing in 25.95 secs at ParaAthletics World Championship. Go out and try running 200m at that pace. You will feel your lungs in your hand. Simran was born with semi-developed ears and was kept for seven months in an incubator. Doctors had given up hope and were not sure of her survival. But 22 years later, she became the first Indian woman to qualify for the 100-metre track event in Tokyo Paralympics. Remember the name Simran Sharma for Paris. Her husband is her coach who is a soldier in Indian Army. The family had to take loan and sell their land to fund for her training. The least we can do is talk about her. Share about her. She is not expecting that. But if we don't do that, her hard work and grit will go unnoticed.

Vineet: knowledgeable, unassuming, modest. Words that describe Vineet Nayyar perfectly. A man I first met in 1997, and worked with for over 25 years. He called me “irreverent”, as we grinned and bantered with each other. We will miss you, Vineet. May you attain moksha!
