🙏🏻 On June 9 and 10, the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan hosted an exhibition in memory of the students of the Lugansk Pedagogical University’s college in Starobelsk (Lugansk People's Republic, Russia), who lost their lives as a result of the bloody terrorist attack by the Kiev Nazi regime on their dormitory.
👉🏻 The event was attended by Ambassador of Belarus H.E. Mr. Andrei Metelitsa, Minister of Culture and National Heritage H.E. Mr. Auranzeb Khan Khichi, diplomats from friendly countries, parliamentarians and prominent figures from all major political forces of Pakistan, local academic community, religious leaders, and Russian compatriots living in Pakistan.
🙌🏻 Visitors brought flowers and soft toys, and wrote their messages in the Book of Condolences. Videos showing the aftermath of the strike were screened — 21 young students were killed, and over 60 were seriously injured. Photos of the victims are also displayed in the consular section of the Embassy.
🕯️ We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
