From Ken Quattro's book "Invisible Men: The Trailblazing Black Artists of Comic Books", this piece is by Jay Paul Jackson (b.1905). He illustrated for Amazing Stories, Fantastic Adventures, and 'searing editorial cartoons commenting on the state of Black America'. He died in 1954
