Not out until the end of the academic year (in time for all your graduation gift needs, obviously) but my book and its “nuanced analysis” (their words, not mine) has a presence on the @UChicagoPress site. press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books…

Huge thanks to @AFTarchivist for interviewing me about "Para Power" on the @ReutherLibrary's podcast. Couldn't have written the book without the archives and Dan's guidance through them (as well as travel grants for grad students)! reutherlib.blubrry.net/2025/…

I saw this first hand myself. The aunties LOVE Zohran!
I was marshaling a rally for Zohran yesterday at Diversity Plaza and witnessed how down bad the aunties are for him. They kept trying to give him gifts!

Thanks so much to @brianfhamilton for this very fun conversation about my book!
Happy pub day to @parhee! Her brilliant new @UChicagoPress history of Santa Barbara points to the hiding-in-plain-sight conservatism of mainstream environmentalism and offers much to our debates about growth, abundance, and democracy #envhist

Happy to have this piece out, connecting the struggles of paraprofessional educators in NYC past and present and highlighting big gains militant paras and their unions have made in recent years.
7 May 2025
Half a century ago, New York City paraprofessional educators waged a campaign to win their first contract as part of the teachers union. It’s a history the union can draw on to win needed advances for paras today. jacobin.com/2025/05/nyc-para…

Today! Lots happening, of course, but if you have a minute, we have an incredible group of authors -- organizers, front-line workers, scholars, archivists, students -- joining for this at 5pm Eastern / 4pm Central!
Happy #MayDay! If you're free this evening (at 4pm CDT), join @NickJuravich and Steve Striffler, editors of THE PANDEMIC AND THE WORKING CLASS, for a virtual event hosted by the Labor Resource Center @UMassBoston umassboston.zoom.us/meeting/…
