The HBCU satellite campus is a key component of our strategy to revitalize Downtown. We have already formed partnerships with over 10 HBCUs, and our first cohort of 60 students will arrive this summer. This funding opportunity supports a lead organization to facilitate meetings, coordinate space and schedules, work on accreditation, conduct outreach, and launch classes. We are excited to welcome them to San Francisco!

San Francisco is taking a significant step in our 30 by 30 initiative, which will bring 30,000 new residents and students to Downtown by 2030. As part of this effort, we are proposing to bring a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) satellite campus to our city. This initiative will boost our economy and create a firm connection for HBCUs on the West Coast, supported by strategic public-private partnerships and philanthropic collaborators.

The problem we face now is that “art” has been trapped by universities, along with literacy and knowledge. All black art is now enslaved to critique—a criticism that is caught in a legislative battle to prove black being and sentience. Black art is not proof of life.

🚨 Georgia State University, an institution with deep ties to Israel by way of the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE) program, as well as to Cop City, is having graduating students wearing keffiyehs dragged off campus and is threatening to rescind degrees.
