Have you heard of the newest Fibonacci spiral? They say it's going to be as big as the last two combined. #programmerhumor

This is so par for the course for any Reactism or whatever. If you criticize an API (remember hooks?) you just "don't get it". You're not smart enough. You can't sit with us.

Actually after posting this, I saw a node contributor saying it will be brought down to 22, so will be a lot sooner.

We don't even check if a child or parent is a custom element - we treat all DOM the same. And so we've never had to fix a bug with "web components compatibility" because we treat all elements the same. They're all just HTML elements. Web components then _just work_.

This was in 2019. What I did was request the MDN survey aggregate results sliced by whether developers responded that they used react, vue, or angular or not, and look at the counts. 81% of frontend developers said they used those frameworks.

Not flaming, genuine good faith question, I’m just dumb. How do companies like these make profit? Whats in it for the investors?

Also this seems to be a common theme with anti custom element folks; Post hot take on a public forum, get responses, “Im not interested in discussing this!” Then… maybe dont post it on a public forum?
