I once met a wise man and asked him for his most profound piece of knowledge. He sharpened his gaze with a solemn frown. After a moment of time, he looked at me through half-raised eyes as if holding on to a memory & told me what I wanted to know. I'll never forget what he said.

Well, @Whataburger I quit eating your hamburgers when you changed the meat. They're dry and tasteless. Today, I found out that you changed your chicken. It's dry and artificially flavored. Also, flat like those cheap breaded chicken breasts you get from Costco. I'm done.

The Fair Tax Act of 2025 was introduced in the House on January 3, 2025. As of today, it is still in the early stages, referred to the House Ways and Means Committee with no hearings, votes, or further action. The bill would end income tax and the IRS when and if it passes.
