We have some new Owls coming to Gambier this Fall and are going to introduce them before they move in next weekend. First up, from Bishop McGuinness, @patrickagraves!
The duo of 2026 Thomas Thompson & 2027 JJ Short will once again have Bishop McGuinness in state championship contention.
Thompson excels getting downhill where he finishes at the rim.
Short does a great job facilitating & getting others involved.

Great to have Villain 🏀alums Nicholas (‘25) & Patrick (‘25) Graves at our summer scrimmage games today! Wearing the BISHOP jersey matters!!!
Nicholas & Patrick will head to Kenyon College (OH) in the fall to begin their college basketball careers!

All Glory to God! I want to thank God for everything I’ve accomplished! Thank you to my family, coaches, mentors, and friends for being with me during the journey. Thank you Coach Bagwell and staff for giving me an opportunity! #committed#JUCOPRODUCT
Thomas Thompson 6’6 G/F 2026 Garner Road
High motor wing. Has a Swiss Army knife approach doing whatever the team needs to win. Cuts hard, always moving, effective crashing the glass and was a reliable offensive scoring threat for this group. Good frame war as well.
Villains 🏀past, present, & future got together this week for an open run! Lots of buckets and a few defenders in this 📸!
Many thanks to @sakilgar for running the show!

2026 Thomas Thompson (Garner Road National 2026) was all over the place and consistent today. Scored and attacked the rim, was active on the glass with multiple rebounds, and just was a workaholic on the court for his team. #PhenomMayMadness
Great day for our program as Nicholas & Patrick Graves sign their letters of commitment to play COLLEGE BASKETBALL at Kenyon College (OH)!
Nicholas and Patrick become the 14th and 15th players in the last 10 years from the Bishop Basketball program to go on to college basketball!
