We have received an influx of donations we will have all of this money go towards support and funds to the victims' families and survivors. We are currently working with organizations in Georgia and are trying to contact survivors and families.

This is exactly right. Countries with high cohesion, with strong sense of community and interpersonal ethical obligation, have managed Covid-19 well; Japan, S Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, other Confucian societies are all examples. One metric of cohesion is willingness to wear masks.

white people often love to conflate fairness & balance. they pretend that fairness is everyone getting equal, balanced airtime to vent about their "valid concerns" - when in fact it's just a pre-emptive defense against being called out / for when they expound racist beliefs
