After sustaining a season-ending injury at the start of the season in 2026, I have entered the transfer portal as a sixth year, graduate student. All of this connects back to the original thread: Pat’s goal here isn’t just to swing steeper—it’s to build a bat path that lets him lift the ball to the pull side, while still having enough margin for error to square it up consistently. 7/8

In Pat’s case, we’re working on stacking more hip hinge and forward bend early to set up a steeper path… Then using side bend later in the swing to stay on plane and avoid missing under or over the ball. 6/8
