Many thanks to @PatrickPearses, @GlenavyGAA and @LaochraLochLao for contributing to a successful Felix Mulligan Tournament.
Lámh Dhearg and Pearses played out an absorbing final and Pearses ran out worthy winners.
The tournament was a fitting tribute to our late President.

This year it’s an U14 LGFA tournament with @GlenavyGAA, @patrickPearses and @LaochraLochLao joining us to celebrate our late President Felix.

A severe lack of facilities for GAA clubs across the city.
At the same time 20 of our girls travelled from North Belfast to Mallusk to train. Unable to use the Cricky they made the most of a spot of grass with cones marking out the pitch.
Not much to ask. Not good enough.

North Belfast has ZERO dedicated GAA pitches. Two clubs use the one multi sports facility but this falls way short of what is required.

We are calling on @belfastcc to urgently address the total lack of GAA facilities in North Belfast. North Belfast has NO dedicated GAA pitches. The North Belfast GAA Pitches Forum is our first step in addressing the imbalance in council provision. #GAA

LACK OF FACILITIES DISRUPTING GROWTH
As leagues are in full flow clubs in North Belfast find it a constant battle to get a pitch for training or matches. This week alone there has been cancelled training sessions, clashing fixtures and a continuing lack of facilities.
