Very interesting paper by my friend & colleague Adam! NeMo, Neural mesh models - Learning a generative model of neural feature activations at each vertex on a dense 3D mesh. Cool concept and increased robustness to occlusions in 3D object pose estimation.
Our paper on Neural Mesh Models was accepted at #ICLR! The model does analysis-by-synthesis on the level of neural features (instead of pixels) to perform 3D pose estimation robustly under occlusion and for previously unseen views of an object.
