Playground Games has confirmed that Fable’s 1,000 NPCs are voiced by real actors, not AI text-to-speech. According to the studio, around 100 actors were cast to bring the game’s “Living Population” to life, with every NPC fully voiced. Developers said they recorded “tons and tons of dialogue” and said that all voices in the game come from human performances. It was 3 months ago today that my mom died and it's just now finally feeling like she is gone.

When at my favorite ramen restaurant tonight, I was sitting at the bar and watching the World Cup that they happen to have on and I still don't see the appeal. Its got to be the most boring sport there is. MAYBE if the field was half the size, it wouldn't suck so bad.

Tonight has not gone as hoped. I went to my favorite ramen bar for dinner hoping to see and finally ask out my favorite bartender but she is on vacation to spend her birthday in Vegas. Damn. Well, now on to the board games for singles event. Hopefully that goes well.

A programmer has made the original Half-Life playable on the Nokia N95, a phone released in 2007. The classic shooter runs at around 30fps The project was created by Argentine developer Dante D. Leoncini (@dante_leoncini), who used the open-source Xash3D engine to port the 1998 game to the Symbian OS. The port supports Bluetooth mouse and keyboard controls. Despite some bugs and occasional slowdowns, Leoncini is improving the game and adding LAN multiplayer support.
