There's a lot to like about the #DSA. But @dimi_z and also see a real danger in just copy-pasting it, or parts of it, into other jurisdictions.

The new obligations for platforms of the EU DSA can improve people’s experience as well as their rights on the internet.
However, we warn legislators against copy-pasting it elsewhere, without adequate protections for free expression and user rights.

France's proposed bill for securing and regulating digital spaces, #SREN, not only threatens @Wikipedia's community-led model, but also contradicts the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA).
