Project-based vouchers provide the keys to creating affordable housing in the suburbs. We're calling on the Metropolitan Council to set up a plan to use these keys to #UnlockTheMetro. Our communities can't keep waiting for the homes they need today!

This is absolutely heartbreaking š No one should have to flee their home just to keep themselves or their child alive. But when they do, I wanna be part of a place that welcomes them w/ open arms & says, āyou can find safety here.ā

I've lost count of the number of trans people and families just in Texas who have left or are leaving the state because of how the climate is affecting them and/or their trans children.
Even some of those who told me in 2021 that they refused to leave have changed their minds.

Florida passes HB1521. It bans trans people from bathrooms and forces them to leave if cis people point them out.

Trans people can come under arrest for using the bathroom.
