Press Enquiry to MFGĀ
Subject: Inquiry Regarding LPG Price Increase
Dear MFG Press Team,
I am writing to inquire about the recent significant increase in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at Morrisons forecourt, particularly in light of the approaching winter season.Ā
Customers who regularly rely on LPG for heating, cooking, and refrigeration in their caravans and motorhomes have observed a rise in one day of the price per litre from £0.99 to £1.29.9, despite a general decline in fuel prices. One forecourt not linked to you is selling at £0.77 per Litre making a staggering £0.52 pence per litre difference!
Given the essential nature of LPG for many families and individuals during the colder months, this price hike raises concerns about profiteering at a time when many are already facing financial pressures.Ā
Could you please provide an explanation for this apparent increase in the price of such an essential fuel? Additionally, what measures is MFG taking to ensure that customers are not unduly burdened by rising costs during this critical period?
