@Alex_Mortensen_ coach I had the privilege to be at your camp today with my daughterโs boyfriend. I was so impressed with UAB and your coaches that I started doing research when I found that you are Mortโs son! I used to see your dad every year at the Senior Bowl in Mobile between 2010 and probably 2017ish. He always remembered my name and took time to talk ball and faith with me. He was a special special person who I felt very blessed to have known! Good luck this season, I know you will do amazing! ๐๐ป

Basically, they are saying, screw the fans who normally come to town, make a weekend out of it, and catch up with old classmates. Samford for HOMECOMING would be HUGE. We have a dufus running the athletic department, who doesn't give a damn about UAB or the fan experience.
