Some of our Y11 pupils are preparing for their Duke of Edinburgh expedition by practising going for a walk with their rucksacks, putting up tents and cooking food on the trangias.
In Science, Oak class have been learning about plastic, how it is made, the reasons why it takes so long to break down and how bad it is for the environment.
In class they made a simple plastic using milk and acid then they made models with it. Great work from everyone. Well done
Year 11 held a very successful Easter Fayre. They have put time and effort in to preparing Easter treats for the school to buy and games for them to play. Well done Y11 and thank you to everyone who helped by donating prizes and coming along.
Well done to our KS2/Lower KS3 pupils who represented Pennine View in the Sheffield Wednesday Tournament you did us proud. Every player put in 100% and played some excellent football, keeping positive throughout. Pennine View we’re presented with the tournament winners trophy!
What a day! The VR headset workshops have been amazing. The pupils have loved it- they asked great questions and remembered learning they have done in class. Alan was impressed by all of our pupils. Staff have loved it too!
A group of students had the chance to represent PV at Doncaster Music Festival at St. Jude’s church. It was a great day where other Nexus schools took part and formed a Nexus choir. All the students had the best time and did us proud.
Well done to our “I can lead” Sports leaders for delivering their multi skills festival to the younger KS2 pupils. They had spent time planning and preparing for the fun filled afternoon enjoyed by all. Thank you to Coach Tom and Miss Stead for supporting this process through out
Well done to Hawthorne class who represented Pennine View school in the tri football tournament. For most it was their first sporting fixture and they all did us proud.
