That pink paradise on your feed? It’s not a fluke—it’s a 40-year-old legacy. 🌸 In the 80s, while concrete rose, IFS officer S.G. Neginhal fought back. He didn't just plant trees; he engineered a forest. From bamboo guards to 1.5 million saplings, he turned Bengaluru into the Garden City one Tabebuia rosea at a time. Should every Indian city adopt this model? Comment below! #Bengaluru #PinkBloom #UrbanForestry #GardenCity [Pink Bloom in Bengaluru, S.G. VIDEO | At first glance, it appears to be just another neighbourhood café in Mumbai’s Vile Parle East, but behind the counter, the story is different. Launched in 2018 by the Yash Charitable Trust, Café Arpan was created as a supported workplace for adults with autism, Down syndrome and other cognitive challenges. Originally set up in Juhu, the café has since relocated, continuing its mission of inclusive employment and skill development. (Full video available on PTI Videos – ptivideos.com)

A disabled man in Jaipur, unable to walk, begs on a specially adapted cycle to send money every month to his family in the village. A video shared by Dinesh Sonawane (@so_nawane_dinesh) shows that for nearly five years, SBI staff at the Chaura Rasta branch have been stepping outside to help him with his banking needs, as the branch has stairs he cannot access. Despite his condition, the man pedals through busy streets, while bank employees respectfully assist him with deposits right on the roadside. 👉 Relentless Dedication Navigating Jaipur’s crowded roads on his cycle, the man collects alms solely to support his family back in the village, reflecting deep responsibility and resilience. The footage captures SBI employees filling out forms and processing transactions on the street, treating him with dignity and patience. His determination has deeply moved viewers, highlighting the everyday struggle of disabled individuals striving for self-reliance. 👉 Bank’s Compassionate Routine What could have been a barrier became a routine of empathy. This monthly act of support has continued for five years without interruption. Shared recently on social media, the visuals show seamless coordination between staff and the man amid traffic, highlighting quiet acts of kindness and the need for accessible public spaces. The Logical Indian’s Perspective This story reflects the power of compassion and community responsibility. True inclusivity is built through everyday actions and better infrastructure, ensuring dignity and support for all. ⚡⚡ How can we collectively amplify such acts of support in our communities? Some conversations stay with you long after they end, and today’s panel on “Touch, Feel, Hurt: Boundaries around the body” was one of them. It was inspiring to hear the panelists speak with such honesty and courage, and especially my close industry peer, Ravi Bhatnagar, Director, Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs @Reckitt, whose perspective was both timely and thoughtful. Two thoughts stayed with me. First, real change starts close to home, in our own “10 yards,” as Ravi highlighted. When each of us takes responsibility for strengthening the spaces we influence, the collective impact becomes that much stronger. Second, mental health is often confused with mental illness. Emotional harm and conflict exist across communities, with marginalised groups often facing greater risk. That’s why strong support systems and the people who build them matter more than ever. Conversations like these remind me that change doesn’t come from one voice alone, it comes from all of us choosing to listen, act, and care a little more. @avianWE @WEcomms @chase_advisors @ThisIsReckitt @peppedupsam @gottaservesome @RainbowLitFest

We Have Won! No one can use ‘ORS’ on their label unless it’s a WHO-recommended formula. This is the story of Dr. Sivaranjani Santosh, a braveheart paediatrician from Hyderabad, who fought for 8 years against sugar-rich drinks falsely marketed as ORS. Her persistence led to FSSAI’s landmark order, protecting children and patients from misleading claims. “These drinks had 10x the sugar WHO recommends, worsening diarrhoea and complications in millions of kids,” she explains. This victory is not just hers, but belongs to everyone who stood with her — doctors, advocates, parents, and citizens demanding truth in labeling. Scroll down to see how her 8-year battle changed the game for public health and children across India.
