S B 3853 has sat on @SpeakerJohnson desk for over 2 months. It passed the senate 69-30. That’s 8 more votes than last year. I grew up 55 miles from the Nevada test site, yet the government doesn’t consider me a downwinder. I’ve lost aunts, uncles and cousins due to cancer.

How is the already authorized bill from the Senate 'not actually radiation exposure or Gov't action'? Without expansion of RECA all of UT's residents will still face arbitrary exclusions, despite exposure. Why would a bill with wide Senate, supporting all UT be DOA in the House?

In Missouri, we lost an entire school because radioactive waste was found on the property 30 years after the school opened. The contamination of the site began in 1940's by DOE. Decades of federal silence and now your further dismissal. Very sad to see.
