You won't be switching from Sketch to Figma in 2025. If anything, it'll be the other way around. For starters, when it comes to price and features (flex layout coming soon) it doesn't make sense. But you also CAN'T do it: The .sketch file importer in Figma completely garbles the files and makes them unusable. What was once the main thing leading people to switch, combined with bad pricing, bad policies, bad privacy and forced features seems to be another nail in the coffin. Importing a .fig file into Sketch actually works way better. Seems like this will be the way.

So anyone moving to Sketch after the recent news by Figma? 👀

What are we doing in 2025 at @sketch? Right in the first months, you can expect: - Stack Layout (@framer are the OG on stack/auto-layout, so we believe calling it stacks fitting) - Frames (well, same reasoning as above, @figma nailed the implementation) - Lots of minor improvements, which IMO is what makes Sketch the best editor experience out there for years already. We're also still at work on something completely new... (more on that once we ship the good stuff...)
