- "We asked the NCAA to change their policy because more kids gamble now" Shouldn't the policies get MORE strict since that's the case?
- Theoretically - 'Hey coach I'm addicted to steroids. I took a ton of them, but since it's a medical condition, me breaking the rules shouldn't be a big deal right?'
- How much did they pay a quarterback who is addicted to high-risk, low-probability decisions and struggling with anxiety? Did they not know this when they vetted him? If no, why don't they vet character better. If yes, in what universe would those traits describe a highly-paid QB1 in big-time college football?

I should be sleeping but I’m too upset about this Sorsby situation.
This is the clearest case for NCAA enforcement & YET all of that can be upended by a locally elected judge without any articulated legal basis.
This is an existential crisis & I hope the NCAA treats it as such.
