The number of law school applicants with top (175-180) LSAT scores has doubled over last year. You don't suppose 1st-year associate starting salaries zooming past $200,000 has anything to do with that, do you?

My own experiences over the years of being a client mirror this. A couple have been flawless; alas, these are the exceptions.

For many who have powerful ties with more than one country the ability to spend time in both is essential. To be deprived of it may be much like losing a limb.
I met a Japanese woman who normally go to Japan every year and is now so frustrated with Australia’s international border closures that she is considering just going back. I am beginning to think the same.

Hey @ConsumerReports, for 50 years I've been a member and supporter. Each year, I am bombarded with repeated renewal requests. Never do these show me my far-off expiration date. That's misleading--and shameful for a consumer organization. Reason to leave you? Damn near!

I have been impressed by the fact that it is the state supreme court justices who have repeatedly taken the lead in seeking reform. The organized bar, the law schools, practicing lawyers? Nah, not so much.
The Conference of Chief Justices and the Conference of State Court Administrators approved two recent resolutions: -Resolution 2 In Support of Remote and Virtual Hearings -Resolution 3 In Support of Process Simplification (h/t @dehirsch1 via @StateCourts) #A2J

You'd think that's kindergarten stuff, no?
If we are going to require a Bar Exam then the absolute least we can do is ensure that the software required to take the Bar Exam works. #BarExam2021 #law #lawyers

My daughter spotted this odd insect sipping nectar at our butterfly bush. We're guessing it's a macroglossum -- a hummingbird hawk-moth. Never seen one here in Connecticut before.

What a foundationally wise piece! Clip it, and read it repeatedly until you have totally absorbed the lesson. And the tale stars all my heroes!!!👍👍👍👍
What if I told you improving productivity from 1 contract per hour (“cph”) to 2 cph (2x, 1 cph) saves more time than improving from 2 cph to 50 cph (25x, 48 cph)? With guest stars: @ktdumont @smuckwell @BruceMacEwen @AlexHamiltonRad @robsaccone geeklawblog.com/2021/07/adva…
