Time for another reminder about the Olive Tree in Romans 11:
Olive Tree Elements (Romans 11) Olive tree: sphere of Abrahamic covenant blessings Root: Abrahamic promises to patriarchs Natural branches: Israel (believing remnant remains; unbelieving broken off) Wild branches: believing Gentiles grafted in Future: Israel grafted in again

Complex topics like kingdom, covenants, people of God, seed, etc. are usually not settled by appeals to one or two verses.

This will certainly be a must-read. Vlach’s works are like a good referee at a championship game—calm, fair, and almost invisible because he lets the argument play out without unnecessary drama.

The idea that there will be a third Temple in Jerusalem prior to the return of Jesus has deep roots in historic Christian teaching, going all the way back to the early Church Fathers. This is Irenaeus of Lyon, c. 180 AD--hardly a modern dispensationalist: "But when this Antichrist shall have devastated all things in this world, he will reign for three years and six months, and sit in the temple at Jerusalem; and then the Lord will come from heaven in the clouds, in the glory of the Father..." (Against Heresies, Book V.30.4).

Actually.... many Christians would argue that to be pro-life necessitates being pro-death penalty. If life is of premier value, then the penalty for wrongly taking a life must be that your life is forfeit. Not only is it logical, but it is also biblical (cf. Gen 9:5-6).

You cannot be pro-life and pro death penalty.

This is not a surprise. The Left's worldview is completely anti-family, which is why it is doomed to fail. It cannot be sustained. For Christians, there is a huge mission field in the wreckage that is sure to come.
"The Left has a family problem. Progressive messaging that devalues, denies, & deconstructs the value of family life and celebrates solo living in recent years is leaving its mark on the hearts, minds, and lives of young liberals, especially young women on the Left."

Enjoyed hosting @mikevlach on the podcast about his new book, The Bible Storyline. Dispensational premillennialism tells the whole story of God's plan of redemption. And nobody helps us understand that better than Vlach.

I recently joined Peter Goeman for a conversation on my new book, The Bible Storyline. We walked through the heart behind the book and the beauty of Scripture’s story. Hope this is a help to you and anyone you choose to share it with. youtube.com/watch?v=shBbY0c9…

What is your take on Voddie's thoughts about putting sermons on social media? I've gone back and forth on this.
