What would you say if people who farm dogs told you that they have the right to harm dogs and that you shouldn’t force your views on them?

Even in 2026, when so many alternatives exist for transportation and loading work, countless animals are still being used to pull heavy loads. The most heartbreaking part is not just the work itself it is the exploitation. Animals are often forced to carry loads far beyond their capacity. When they become exhausted and can no longer move, many are beaten, whipped, or pushed to continue despite their pain and suffering. Just because an animal cannot speak does not mean it does not feel pain. Just because an animal obeys does not mean it is not suffering. We must seriously rethink how we treat working animals. Their welfare, safety, hydration, rest, and working conditions should always come first. It is time to gradually reduce our dependence on animals for heavy loading work and adopt more humane alternatives wherever possible. Progress should not come at the cost of cruelty. No animal deserves to spend its life in pain, carrying impossible burdens while silently enduring suffering. Compassion is not measured by how we treat those who can speak for themselves, but by how we treat those who cannot. These gentle souls deserve dignity, kindness, and a life free from exploitation.
