She is also a former international model and spoken word poet who led chants for the Winnipeg Women’s March in Washington 2017, and was awarded The ACA Humanitarian Award 2019.
She is now pursuing her honours BA in behavioural sciences.

An illusion that left her with invisible disability.
She is a mother of two children, including a disabled child amputee. And as a disability justice activist, she ensured that her child was respectfully cast for a prosthesis after being denied due to his color.
