Nice info about COLRv1. I love they've picked up on this:

#variablefonts and #colrv1 are a great combination
I am happy to introduce Nupuram, a new Malayalam typeface that I have been designing and developing for several months. Nupuram is a superfamily of 6 related typefaces including a variable font and two Color fonts. And Nupuram is designed using MetaPost. 🧵👇

Instead of letting moiré effects causing you a headache, embrace the interference patterns as a design concept (and shift the headache elsewhere! 😎). Play with the Plakato Moiré font yourself: underware.nl/fonts/plakato/f…

Nice article from @Litherum & @djrrb. "Color palettes work great in WebKit with the COLRv0 font file format, and we are investigating other formats like SVG." Or how about COLR v1? Rich graphics, CSS palettes, and font variations!
Did you know fonts on the web can be in color? They can have several color palettes defined inside, and you can choose which palette is used with `font-palette`. Or define a custom palette with `@font-palette-values`. Learn how from @Litherum & @djrrb webkit.org/blog/12662/custom…

I finally managed to watch @FreyaHolmer’s video about (the math behind) Bézier curves. It is truly fantastic, with great explanations and visualisations. Its 1M (!) views are well deserved. youtube.com/watch?v=aVwxzDHn…

The biggest change is the introduction of a second version of the COLR table. Support is already enabled in Chrome Canary builds, and I've seen some font developers already building fonts using the new capabilities.

Other significant changes include clarification of a number of details. Notable are clarifications for the 'glyf' table and various aspects of the TrueType instruction language. docs.microsoft.com/en-us/typ…
