I made some homemade deodorant - passed the gardening test much better than the store bought stuff. It's not an antiperspirant but that doesn't matter when you're sweating from head to toe anyways while harvesting.

It's been a busy day so it's time to wind down with some homemade strawberry ice cream. I'll have to finish canning tomorrow and make more pickles with the cucumbers I picked today.

7 quarts at a time. Should have 24-28 quarts on this second picking of Roma beans. 1-2 pickings left for this season. It's a lot of work for a few weeks but me and the family get to eat them for a year or longer.
