I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who gets treated like that. Please take care of yourself and don’t stay close to people who only value you when you’re performing for them. Not everyone hangs out to entertain. Some people join because they feel safe in your presence. Some are drained. Some are anxious. Some just want quiet company. Especially in VRChat, where social energy can run out fast. Imagine having a hard day and just wanting to sit next to someone you trust. Not to perform. Not to be “fun.” Just to exist together. And instead of comfort, you get judged because you’re not filling the silence. Silence isn’t disrespect. Sometimes it’s trust. Sometimes it’s exhaustion. Sometimes it’s someone trying their best to still show up. If someone only wants you around when you’re providing "fun&entertainment", that’s not connection. That’s consumption. Real friendship allows space. Real friendship understands different energy levels. Real friendship doesn’t punish you for being quiet. Take care of yourselves, people. You deserve company that feels safe, not conditional.
