Need some good #COVID19 news? I am a Divemaster on a tiny island in Thailand. No scuba now, but I've been snorkeling everyday. I've watched coral unbleach, noticed turtles return in droves to the reefs, and swam w animals I've never seen before. Mother nature is so resilient 🌏

It's #InverteFest Apr 10-12!!!!! I have so many marine invert pics I want to share, but this gorgeous Elysia crispata, commonly known as a Lettuce Sea Slug, is a favorite. Isn't it adorable?!

It’s been 1.5 months since I earned my PhD. There are things I wish I did differently, but there are so many things I’m glad I did. To the many new and continuing graduate students starting this academic year, please use some of my lessons learned to help you succeed in your PhD.
