Proud of our team for a 3rd place finish out of 80 plus teams at Top Gun Invitational! Wasn’t my best hitting tournament, probably my worst, but I stayed with it and was able to string together some hits at the end to help my team. My dad kept reminding me, “I know it’s frustrating, but keep competing and keep showing up.” “You’ll be even better for it.” So that’s what I did and finished strong and on a positive note. Mental toughness. Resilience. This won’t be the first challenge, and it won’t be the last. Keep showing up. Keep competing. Still pretty pumped about our state championship, but summer season is officially here! Played against some really solid competition over my 4 games this weekend. Hit .429 with a pair of hits off a Florida St commit, but most importantly had fun and enjoyed meeting my new teammates and coaches for the first time. Looking forward to a great summer!
