RT @roundrobin42: Lot of Zverev discourse today. As someone who stands strongly in the anti-Zverev camp, I’d like to better articulate my…

Despite being a huge Tiafoe fan, what a freaking match, this is the best Slam on the men's side I've ever seen. Men's tennis DEFINITELY needed some energy and Alcaraz being out/Sinner's lack of fitness provided the jolt men's tennis needed. What an incredible freaking tournament.

The fact that Jakub Mensik gets such little attention from the mainstream media really bothers me. Do people forget that he’s already won a Masters 1000? Should be mentioned more with Fonseca, Jodar and Tien but he’s not and I don’t get why honestly

0-19 vs Top 10. I would say Tommy is currently top 10 level wise. Etcheverry always chokes these matches, the finish line is the hardest part
🤯 UNFAZED 🤯 @TommyPaul1 saves SEVEN match points in a 3h 33min, three-tiebreak marathon to outlast Etcheverry and reach the Hamburg quarter-finals 👏 @hamburgopenatp | #bitpandahamburgopen

I used to be surprised that Etcheverry has no ATP titles. Then I realized he’s 6’5’’ and the biggest pusher of tour. Insignificant wins vs sparkling water only builds fake confidence.
Feeling good at home 🇦🇷 @tometcheverry defeats Pellegrino 6-3 6-4 to kick off his week in Buenos Aires! #ArgOpen2026

Meddy’s PR is insane. Idk how he’s so loved, he does this so often.
Daniil Medvedev complaining about the balls during his match with Ugo Humbert in Rotterdam: "The balls are made for people who love to please... people who love to please with a little bit of saliva. Just a bit." 💀💀💀💀💀💀

Dzumhur “Mr. Worldwide” with a horrible performance in Buenos Aires. Dellien was spanking him side to side around the court today.

Not all that surprising with Ugo’s track record on indoor hard his now 4-1 H2H advantage.
A win to begin for Ugo ✅ Ugo Humbert defeats Daniil Medvedev 7–6 3–6 6–3 to claim his first career win in Rotterdam #abnamroopen

Felix could not be broken with his abnormally high 1S% PW (0 BP faced). Overall, this matchup is advantageous for him, he likes Mannarino’s low balls. Evident in S1, he was able to constantly move Mannarino side to side. B2B in Montpellier for the indoor king!
BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPION 💪🏆   Felix Auger-Aliassime defeats Adrian Mannarino to become the second man to defend his Open Occitanie title after Richard Gasquet in 2015-16 #OpenOccitanie26

Fritz playing Dallas lmao I thought he has knee tendinitis

Don't worry, he will, for no reason other than (almost assured) appearance fee, be in Delray Beach. Then he will eventually get a worse injury late in the season blame the tennis schedule for being too long when he just played a bunch of unnecessary tourneys to collect checks.

In S1, Felix consistently got depth on returns, often at Droguet’s feet immediately putting him on the back foot. Relentless pressure as Felix forced Droguet to play 57 service points.

Mannarino served a lot better in S2/3 and took full advantage in the few looks he got in return games. Damm’s previous opponents were 0/9 on BPs, while le divin chauve was 2/2. Not expected to make the final. 8-match losing streak before this week.
Home Final 🤩🇫🇷 Adrian Mannarino fights back against Martin Damm to become the oldest finalist in tournament history! #OpenOccitanie26

Such slim margins in this match. Droguet’s variety on defense his shot quality on the run/stretch, allowed him to dominate 5 rallies (18 to 9). This combined with 21 aces, proved too much for Tallon.
Second top 50 win 💪 The World No.150 is into his first tour-level semi-final! #OpenOccitanie26

I wonder if the pressure of representing 🇵🇹 in Davis Cup is too much for Borges (1-5 since 2024), all against players outside top 100.
