Introducing the New Look! π
BananaConf isn't your grandma's conference.
It's where ideas get peeled, slipped on, and turned into a fruit salad!
The same goes for our brand - the Banana.
Since 2022, we've been using π as part of our brand, but it always felt a little unsqueezed. So we partnered with our friends at
@_GarageItalia_ to take the Banana into the peeling process.
Today, we introduce you to Nana!
Nana is our brand's official mascotte; her name is gender-neutral, which makes her a perfect medium for bringing the community together.
Neutral, but still a Banana!
Here, the logo is presented with all its layout and colour variations. The logo is very flexible and, in some cases, can be utilized without the pictogram to ensure readability, even on small applications.
BananaConf features an extensive palette where yellow is still a central pivot for the creation of the assets but is surrounded by all the accent colours belonging to the sub-brands. Black also plays a crucial role in achieving the right contrast of elements.
In addition to the logo and brand changes, the Garage Italia team also worked on a bunch of additional ideas, like the following characters, that we'll start rolling out.
