So begin packed days of debate as The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy members debate motions at #CSPARC26
It’s a great chance to hear directly from members, about the issues that matter to them and their colleagues, and help to inform the CSP strategy

On Thursday many of us will be asked to do our civic duty and vote in local elections. When you do remember that these elections are about local issues.
Some parties and individuals may try and appeal to you about national issues but voting for they won’t be resolved here.
We're recruiting!
We've an exciting permanent, full time opportunity to join our Parkinson's Specialist Team, in a Band 6/7 Developmental role, to support PwP on the acute wards, in clinic and via our Parkinson's Hub.

Today it was a change of scene from my usual role at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and a case of going full circle as I taught my first session in the new University of St Mark & St John Health & Wellbeing Hub
Although I’ve now been teaching on this course for 3 years today’s session took place in a building I formerly knew as PAHC (when I studied #Physiotherapy there with University of Plymouth)
It was a pleasure to meet with and teach the students about #Parkinsons today and also promote the The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Student Conference #Physio26
I’m looking forward to seeing them again as I teach further sessions over the next several weeks

En route to London, looking forward to tomorrow’s @thecsp Council meeting.
It’s hard to believe it’s been two weeks since I was in Newport for #Physio25 and heard about the fantastic work members are doing and shared my knowledge on Parkinson’s and Bone Health.

Day 1 of the conference done and after travelling back to Devon I’m reflecting on some fantastic feedback 🤩 Thanks to all @thecspstudents for a fabulous first day
I’ll be back in Newport for my 2nd session and the AGM on Saturday 🚙

🌟Congratulations Christina Ryan for winning CSP Volunteer of the Year 2025! 🌟
The award recognises a host of volunteer work Christina does within the CSP community. Including as part of @csplgbtqia, her role as a CSP steward and mentorship of reps.
ALT Photo of Christina smiling at the camera. Christina is wearing a white shirt and a lanyard, and is stood in front of a beige wall.
2 weeks until @thecsp Annual Conference and I'm presenting about #Parkinson's at both at the main and @thecspstudents conference
I'm looking forward to meeting members and hearing their stories and hopes for the profession going forward

An early but bright start as I leave Plymouth and head off to London to join my fellow @thecsp Council members for 2 days of strategic planning to help ensure Physiotherapy remains a vital cornerstone of all areas and sectors of public health #CSPCouncil#physiotherapy
