this song is kinda me getting my revenge on the lost years and is about regretting not leaving sooner and i hope it can encourage other girlies to prioritize music rather than relationships.
this is a song i wrote to my old self. it’s about how healing isn’t always clean, how loving yourself can look like walking away from what once kept you safe, about the strange grief of outgrowing a version of you you thought was your true self.
