The new Siri finally works as it is supposed to for the first time in 15 years and the pre-installed status is going to give Apple a competitive baseline to ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude that will steal away users of basic tasks like search, the most popular AI use case.
Power On: Apple’s new Siri AI is just good enough to pull it out of its AI crisis. My hands-on impressions of the new assistant and AI features. bloomberg.com/news/newslette…

We ARE in the era of personalized software. Made an app for my girlfriend. Just needed her to explain Codex what she wanted with a 3 minutes audio. Everything built on a VPS, GitHub & Vercel. In one prompt. We described the need, launched the process, had time to forget about it. And then it’s ready when you pick your phone again.

I've been using Codex for about 2 months on both a VPS & a MacMini. Better reliability with the VPS. But somehow, using the MacMini seems more natural -- maybe because of the unbuntu vs macos setup.

This is ad is 100% made by AI. thepalette.app takes a website URL, scrapes the brand, creates 100s of marketing hooks and then generates ads/static content. INSANE how good and exponential the quality/cost curve is.

Today, we share a breakthrough on the planar unit distance problem, a famous open question first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946. For nearly 80 years, mathematicians believed the best possible solutions looked roughly like square grids. An OpenAI model has now disproved that belief, discovering an entirely new family of constructions that performs better. This marks the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.

was browsing the Logitech website. one day, this kind of work setup will look so outdated. there’s no world where a 25-inch screen and keyboard keys aren’t replaced within 5-15 years by far more natural interfaces: gaze, thought, spatial movement, voice...

the funny thing about AI is that the first instinct is to think it means less work, everything’s easier, you don’t know how to do anything anymore. but it’s the exact opposite: you learn faster. you parallelize more. you multiply your ambitions. on the tool itself (not the social, ecological consequences, etc): how someone feels about AI says a lot about how they see the world. some endure it and complain about everything, thinking criticism makes them deeper. others explore and build even more. you can just build things

OpenAI should release all their beautiful launch images for free so we can use them as desktop and phone wallpapers. Free advertising and brand awareness
