Haha definitely don't want to rip apart anyone's hard work, just hopefully help in capturing what makes your game special a bit better!
So like the visual style, like the music. It's black jack but "different". In this case MOST people know blackjack, so the zoom in on the cards I feel like is wasted time/space. I like when you showcase modifiers, upgrades and the strategy there. Would strongly recommend focusing on that part. Blackjack is a simple game so while that's the basis, I would highlight why your cards/strategy matter. You do this some, but I'd say do it even a bit more. The map screen could use a caption like "Dozens of unique zones/challenges!" or something that explains why there's a map at all?
Like that you have a vendor and showcase that. let the screen linger just a tad longer on the cards as they're highlighted (this lets players know they have build options/progression etc). You show the main character meeting the lady with the fireball, but that doesn't explain/showcase anything of value. Does she teach you new abilities? Use that time to highlight either what she adds to the game or shift it to more gameplay options.
Like the idea and these types of games are taking off lately, so wish you the best of luck on this!
