New pi.dev installs broke late last night due to a loose pinned dependency on pierre diffs that updated with its own missing dependencies. This has been fixed `pi install npm:@plannotator/pi-extension`

Plannotator 0.20.0 is out First of three big releases. Plannotator is better as a swiss army knife -- The persistent long-running app rolls out gradually from here, but strategically. This release focuses on getting leaner and cleaner before then. Note 1: only core skills ship by default now. Extras (compound, setup-goal, visualizers) are opt-in. Note 2: Skills will not be invocable by the model unless you select an option in the install process. App: - UI refresh - Leaner install: extra skills are opt-in now - Plus a pile of OpenCode, Pi, and Windows fixes Annotate: - Enhanced HTML experience Code Review: - Multi-repo code review - New semantic/structural diff overviews nav (works well for code and markdown!) - Claude Fable 5 added to code review models OpenCode had the biggest underlying changes, enabling cross runtime support (bun/node) - so Desktop and Openchamber users regain support.

I had not planned on spamming this, but Fable 5 just single-shot an impressive interactive architecture svg. It's pure SVG and HTML, no library. It's a real @plannotator system and it read the OpenAPI spec prior, but still - this is damn good. I didn't tell it to do the whole varying sequences like it did, so I was pretty shocked by that. ill reply with the prompt

In Plannotator Code Review, you can already launch review agents - Claude and Codex - they leave annotations on diffs. These are the same class reviews those harnesses provide. There is also a code tour feature. Personal experience shows these are not as useful as just chatting with a model when trying to learn about changes 1. Do you want the ability to create custom reviews? 2. Is there heart burn if the code tour feature is removed? On 2, the better path is deterministic semantic diffs used strategically. And more interactive "tour"/debugging like features beyond simple summaries you couldn't otherwise get from chat. Thoughts?

Introducing tripwires 🪤 Flag the code that matters or is sensitive to change, and when an agent touches any of it, that insight surfaces right in your code review UI; so even in a massive review, you know exactly where to look. Integrated with @plannotator and managed through an agent-first CLI.

99 problems but contributors aren't 1. They're 💯 We've hit 100 contributors (humans and agents). Also crossed 100 open issues 😅, and at least 1 VC backed startup that pivoted entirely into an exact copy of the tool 😎 Thank you to the community that has helped ship better review surfaces for your agents. As a reminder, anyone contributing in this early period gets lifetime free access to an upcoming workspaces capability, sign up here: plannotator.ai/workspaces/

Plannotator is the best tool I've integrated into my agentic work. Can't possibly use agents without that anymore. It makes collaborating with agents much much smoother and it's completely tool agnostic. github.com/backnotprop/plann…

Plannotator 0.19.27 is out Plannotator will use @DanielGri's Glimpse instead of a browser if you have that installed. This creates a semi standalone experience. (See glimpse in the video along with annotating all agent messages) @kirodotdev is now supported Plan/Annotate: - You can now annotate multiple messages. - Mermaid rendering optimizations - Pi approval flow optimizations (plan mode) App wide: - A bit more of an obvious update notification that doesn't stick around.
