One of the oldest and largest child rights organizations in the Philippines. Striving for a just world that advances children's rights and equality for girls.
Following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani and other parts of Southern Mindanao on 8 June 2026, strong aftershocks continue to be felt and recorded across affected areas.
Children should carry dreams, not burdens beyond their years.
No child should have to choose between survival and education. No girl or boy should be denied the opportunity to reach their full potential because they are pushed into labor.
Ending child labor requires more than sympathy. It demands stronger protection systems, access to quality education, decent livelihoods for families, and a commitment to uphold every child's rights.
Freedom means opportunity for all.
For every girl. Every child. Every young person.
This Independence Day, we envision a Philippines where all can learn, participate, and shape the future they deserve.
Happy Independence Day from Plan International Pilipinas! 🇵🇭
Following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani and other parts of Southern Mindanao on 8 June 2026, strong aftershocks continue to be felt and recorded across affected areas.
The earthquake and aftershocks may eventually cease, but their impact on vulnerable families and children, especially girls, may endure long after the ground stops shaking.
As we #StandWithMindanao, we must also #StandWithGirls by ensuring access to essential services and basic needs, helping families recover safely and with dignity.

Pride Month is a reminder that every girl and young person deserves to feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves.
At Plan International Pilipinas, we continue standing for inclusion, dignity, and communities where every identity is respected and valued.
Happy Pride Month! 🌈
Across different regions and languages, there are words that capture strength, hope, and the will to keep going.
These stories are part of the communities we work with every day, each one shaping how girls learn, grow, and move forward.
Some things shouldn’t be up for debate. But for many girls, these are still their current situation.
Across our 65 years of work in the Philippines, we partner with communities to change this, so every girl has the chance to learn, lead, and move forward with confidence.
Today, Plan International Pilipinas’ Executive Director, Pebbles Sanchez-Ogang, delivered our position statement before the House of Representatives Committee on the Welfare of Children, calling for the urgent approval of the Magna Carta of Children (MCC).
We call on our lawmakers to expedite the passage of the Magna Carta of Children and uphold the rights and future of every child.
The time to act is now. Delaying the MCC means prolonging the risks and inequalities faced by millions of Filipino children.
Across communities, mothers continue to carry families through uncertainty and hope — quietly, yet always powerfully.
Today, we celebrate the women who stood with girls first.
Happy Mother’s Day. 💙
